Use case
AI coding for defense and federal software teams.
Teams building for government missions can use a capable AI coding agent without adding a vendor-operated service to their system. Topsoil runs on Amazon Bedrock in your own AWS GovCloud (US) or commercial account.
Why it fits
- Your account, your boundary. Topsoil adds no Thazen-operated service. The authorization boundary and the ATO remain yours.
- AWS GovCloud (US) support. GovCloud IAM policy files, model access across both GovCloud regions, and model errors that say which step is needed in the commercial account.
- Inside your own network. Jira Data Center and Bitbucket Data Center for backlog to pull request, through Topsoil’s own clients with no hosted relay.
- Private network paths. Public, custom HTTPS or reachable PrivateLink and VPC endpoints.
- Human-in-the-loop. Plan approval, diffs, allowlisted commands, and pull requests a person reviews. Topsoil does not merge.
- No telemetry. No analytics, crash reporter, or font or CDN fetch.
Topsoil does not make a system compliant with any framework, and your program decides how it is documented. See AWS’s own pages for what AWS GovCloud (US) provides.

A pilot runs in your own AWS account, with your models and your material, and ends with findings you can act on.
